Global Logistics & Inventory Management Specialist
The big picture is:
This position will report directly to the Director, Quality Assurance & CMC and support various functions by working with global R&D and manufacturing teams to support process development and global logistics for EXUMAs CAR-T products and related materials to ensure materials are transported in compliance with company procedures and applicable regulations.

This is a full-time position working with a great team and with excellent benefits associated with Grand Cayman.
Here are some of the responsibilities:
-Oversee global logistics process and scheduling and management of global shipments, as well as compliance to global shipping process to ensure chain of custody on material
-Support logistics team by planning and preparation for documents in support of CIQ applications for import/export of materials for China
-Work closely with internal CMC team to manage and shipments and ensure minimal issues to keep shipment moving in a compliant and timely manner.
-Manage logistics service provider relationship and contract adherence
-Lead Global import/export processes and implement procedures, SOPs, checklists and tools as needed. Ensure all EXUMA standard and operating procedures are adhered to during import and export of materials.
-Provide trainings to employees for shipping process and updates as needed
-Ensure operational procedures are maintained in accordance with various regulatory bodies and tax authorities. Monitor and communicate emerging regulation changes.
-Plan and manage projects according to internal company goals
-Lead with development and implementation of global inventory control system and oversee the system ensuring compliance with developed procedures
-Ability to work flexible hours in the early morning and evenings to ensure efficiency of project/task completion
-Up to 10% travel required
We are looking for candidates with this background and education:
-3 to 5 years of relevant experience in logistics/supply-chain management
-Biopharmaceutical experience preferred
-Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required
-At least three (3) years of industry experience or equivalent experience in related industry required
-Ability to illustrate complex issues and to evaluate them critically as well as to navigate a goal-orientated decision process
-Possesses planning and organizational skills
-Able to manage a number of projects simultaneously
-Has experience in multicultural environments
-Bilingual English/Mandarin fluency a strong asset
-Willing to travel
-Experience working in Oncology or Immuno-oncology field – Preferred
-Proven ability to work efficiently and independently
-Strategic thinker, self-starter, and results-oriented
