Applications are invited by the Cayman Islands Office of Maples Technology SEZC for the position of
who will be involved with the design, implementation and support of business change and technology-related initiatives that drive operational efficiencies and provide new sources of competitive advantage for MaplesFS.
Specifically, the Business Analyst will be responsible for forming a deep understanding of the domain for the projects they are assigned to. They will be required to elicit and document requirements, understand the value of each and be able to prioritise effectively. They will be responsible for driving business analysis in an agile environment and for communicating and advocating the product vision. Acting as the voice of the customer, they will develop a strong understanding of business needs, and use their knowledge of systems and applications to influence the implementation in order to provide the most effective solution.
This will require a strong background of analysis across a number of business processes and applications, data definitions, integrations, and varieties of infrastructure. The selected individual will have experience reviewing and examining business processes and systems, modeling data, organizing activities and developing business strategies using establish business analysis methodologies. Experience working in a financial, legal or other professional services environment is preferred.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner or other comparable role. Appropriate analysis training/qualifications are preferred (BCS/ISEB diploma, IIBA certification). Agile/Scrum experience is desirable with qualifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner or Certified Scrum Professional preferred.
