He/she will be responsible for ownership of the core Entity Management platform within the Maples Group. The Product manager will conceive, define, test, deliver, monitor, refine and withdraw features and services in the product to serve the market (and internal stakeholders) to maximize business results. They will conduct customer research and work with key stakeholders across business and technology to develop and convey product vision. They will also work with product teams to deliver and sustain the end-to-end customer experience.
The successful candidate will be responsible for: conducting research and defining the customer segments served by the entity management product. This will be based on developing a deep understanding of customer goals, the value customers derive from the product, and the business capabilities and digital strategies of the business domain; analyse competing offerings or capabilities, including alternatives that internal customers might use, to understand how to offer the differentiated products or services that customers prefer; orchestrate a variety of stakeholders to achieve a shared vision of product goals and priorities; work closely with product teams to convey the product vision, continuously verify that the product fulfills that vision (as measured by customer value and business outcomes) and help the team ensure it is building the right product; maintain a full product life cycle perspective, and work to balance shortterm achievements with long-term goals (such as minimizing technical debt while maximizing resiliency); monitor application health and services; implement and then examine service levels and application health metrics for opportunities to improve customer outcomes.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or equivalent and have 5-7 years’ (or more) of relevant experience in IT and business (in legal, professional services or fiduciary related industries). More than 3 years’ of experience working in, or with, lean and agile software delivery teams will be preferred. He/she will have more than 3 years’ working with design professionals. Formal Product Management or design qualifications would be highly desirable.
