| Purpose: | · Contribute to the growth of the Renewable Energy business at Sol by providing support for organic growth initiatives, partnership opportunities and mergers & acquisitions |
| Principle Accountabilities: | · Conducting Research on renewables technology and trends globally and specific to the Caribbean
· Working cross-functionally with Sol teams in multiple markets, and with external stakeholders / partners to drive forward renewable initiatives · Valuation and modeling of Renewable project economics using typical forecasting methods and tools (Excel) · Analysis of Renewables data across Sol markets to develop insights supporting management decision making · Preparation of presentations to communicate ideas, concepts, context, and / or project recommendations to the Sol management team · Delivering presentations and project recommendations to Sol management team · Assist in identifying business opportunities, and seeking strategic solutions that align with Sol’s long-term goals · Any other duties, compatible with the level of position that may be assigned from time to time |
| Qualification Requirements: | · Strong work ethic
· A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Commerce, Finance, Accounting or similar · Three to six years of relevant work experience in an analytical, strategic, and/or business consulting role · Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, deductive reasoning, inductive reasoning, and analytical skills · Ability to demonstrate strategic thinking and a business mindset · Exceptionally high level of focus on quality of work and attention to detail · Strong written and verbal communication skills · Strong team orientation balanced with the ability to work autonomously on projects and initiatives · Strong technical competency on MS Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint) |
| Other Competency Requirements: | · Experience in the Renewable Energy industry is beneficial, but not a requirement for the role
· Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to changing priorities · A strong work ethic, high level of enthusiasm and ability to excel in a flexible, fast paced environment · Strong team orientation balanced with the ability to work autonomously on projects and initiatives. · Ability to handle confidential information · Exceptional business and financial acumen · Ability to travel for business to various markets |
