In this role it is critical that you have a foundational know-how of SEO, paid ads, social media marketing, inbound marketing, project management and can carry on a conversation about any of the above. You will be supported by a team of specialists in these areas but will need to know enough to hold your own.

Position Overview:

As a Senior Manager, Inbound Marketing, you lead the marketing strategy and overall performance for your key client. Your role requires collaboration with your client and with your team.

The Day-to-Day: Client Revenue Growth

While clients objectives may vary, this role works to create strategies and plans of execution to ensure the client sees positive ROI with the fastest time to value possible, which requires:

  • A thorough understanding of the client’s business, objectives, and current gaps/opportunities
  • Building a marketing strategy and playbook(s) to fit the above
  • Creating a 90-day plan, as well as quarterly and annual themes that maximize value for the client
  • Actively researching and collecting data to help inform strategic plans
  • Monitoring performance regularly and ensuring positive ROI from all activities through proper attribution reporting
  • Ensuring flawless and seamless execution of lead and revenue generation plans
  • Proactively identify and remove barriers to success

Own the Client Experience & Maximize Client Retention
As the main point of contact for any accounts that you own, the Senior Manager, Inbound Marketing is key to creating a positive client experience that maximizes client retention. The Senior Manager, Inbound Marketing helps to accomplish this by meeting the client’s revenue goals, as well as providing  a seamless experience through:

  • Operating as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to your accounts
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Overseeing customer account management and escalating contract negotiations to your supervisor as needed
  • Developing trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Ensuring the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Coordinating with your consulting team and a number of specialists to provide client weekly status updates and also providing monthly/quarterly business reviews on initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Working to resolve challenging client requests or issues; escalating as needed
  • Assist and empower clients with the results, knowledge, content, and tools to not only get their buy-in but to evangelize their success through their organization.
  • Staying up-to-date with trends to help identify opportunities for the client
  • Communicating opportunities to improve the client experience with our leadership team

Build the CRO:NYX Digital Brand & Your Own Personal Brand

We are building a reputation as trusted experts through the contributions of our team members through content, sharing their voice, and gaining and showcasing client praise. An essential part of your role is continuing to maintain and build the CRO:NYX Digital brand through:

  • Practicing your craft by contributing to our blog once per month
  • Engaging in social media as a brand representative
  • Adding to award submissions by showcasing your client’s work
  • Documenting client case studies for marketing use with a goal of 1 per quarter
  • Generating 5-star reviews or the equivalent on partner or third-party review sites

Performance & Measurement for the Role

Performance is measured across several dimensions that are key to the role, including:

  • Meeting minimum revenue under management targets (measured quarterly)
  • Client success/ROI
  • Client retention/churn
  • Customer satisfaction and our brand reputation
  • Development, growth, and retention of their consulting team

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • B.A. or B.S. degree is required
  • 7+ years experience building comprehensive digital and traditional marketing campaigns
  • 7+ years experience with online marketing, sales, and social media
  • 2+ years of agency or client services experience a bonus
  • Experience with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and create campaigns based on customer requirements and work collaboratively to strategize and execute
  • Passion for the internet and marketing with a strong understanding of inbound marketing and sales enablement
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking and independent management skills
  • Able to find and integrate market and customer data into marketing strategies
  • Proven relationship-building skills and client communication experience
  • Strong work ethic with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Strong understanding of all social media platforms
  • Working knowledge of search engine optimization
  • Working knowledge of email marketing best practices and CAN-SPAM compliance
  • Desire to learn on your own and keep up with inbound marketing and internet marketing developments and best practices
  • Great writing skills and a strong understanding of how to write SEO-friendly content
  • Proficiency in blogging platforms such as WordPress
  • Experience with HubSpot
  • Experience working remotely in similar roles strongly preferred
