Applications are invited by the Cayman office of the Maples Group for the position of

Support Engineer

Who will be responsible for managing the escalated support queue on a day to day basis and will work with the Engineering Teams to manage escalated tickets through to a successful resolution. Our internal clients expect prompt and professional service, this is a demanding role that requires someone able to debug and resolve issues with existing systems and to deliver excellent customer service and provide end-to-end ownership of issues escalated by the IT Service Desk. As a member of the global team the successful candidate will ensure excellent customer service levels are provided.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent. Technical experience in SQL and C# along with experience using source/version control software. TFS or Azure DevOps desirable. Familiarity with web debugging software such as Fiddler or other browser-based tools/addons. He/she will be able to demonstrate exceptional customer service and interact in a professional manner with various functions and levels within the group.

Experience of law firm processes, policies and procedures would be advantageous and Legal IT product market knowledge strongly preferred. Familiarity with ITIL or other service management principles are desirable. Training will be ongoing based on individual and the firms needs and changes to any relevant laws ensuring compliance at all times.
